KEELBOAT CERTIFICATION CAMP
For graduates of our Basic Training camps, these camps offer an opportunity to hone their sailing skills and lay the groundwork for more advanced sailing and racing. The camp curriculum follows the American Sailing Association Basic Keelboat Certification course curriculum and participants able to demonstrate the required skills will be granted certification upon completion of the camp. Warrior Sailing is a ASA mobile school, for more information check out ASA online at: https://asa.com
CERTIFICATION TRAINING FAQ
Am I ready to go sail the America’s cup?
No, you are still a novice sailor, but you are developing your basic skills to the next level. You are now more prepared to go sailing on your own, with friends, with family, or in a regatta setting.
What is my path to success from here?
You will leave the camp with qualifications to continue to sail. We will be providing additional sailing opportunities to those that complete the certification camps. Pathways in cruising, certification though US Sailing, racing, and potential Warrior Sailing team involvement.
If I attend the Certification Camp do I automatically leave with an ASA certification?
No. Certification is not solely based on attending the Certification Camp. As a certified mobile ASA school, Warrior Sailing will use the ASA Basic Keelboat curriculum during the training camp. Each participant has the option to be certified in the various skills being taught during the camp. It is not required that you complete the certification, but will be available to those that pass all of the necessary skills outlined by the ASA.
Can I apply?

Are there prerequisites for this training?
Prior to attending the Keelboat Certification Camp, you must complete a Basic Training Camp with Warrior Sailing. There are no other prerequisites required.
