“What a great first race for Wizard.”
It was none other than the Rolex Sydney Hobart race. Led by long-time Foundation supporters, David & Peter Askew, along with crew and Foundation president, Ralf Steitz, Wizard took first in her division and fifth overall at the 2017 event.
With fantastic conditions the boat was fast and furious on their way from Sydney harbor on Boxing Day. This Reichel-Pugh 74-footer was sponsored by the Askew brothers for this pinnacle event. What is next for this boat in 2018? She will be in the Bermuda Race later this year.
