Hosted by the Newport Shipyard in Newport, RI the Annual Pumpkin Regatta benefited Sea Mercy, Antigua & Barbuda Search & Rescue and Warrior Sailing. But this is not your typical fund-raising regatta.
For a nominal entry fee, participants raced across the Newport Shipyard basin in patriotically painted pumpkins. A team of 8 Warrior Sailors along with Ben & Cory joined in on the fun on Friday, September 29. Is this really sailing?
