At Warrior Sailing Program, we are proud to be a nationwide program. Each of our partner cities brings something unique to the table, creating meaningful, memorable experiences for our veterans wherever we sail.

That said, sunny City of St. Petersburg, Florida, has become a true fall and winter home for many of our events—and for good reason. With reliable sunshine, mild temperatures, and steady breezes, the conditions are ideal for training, certification, and competition during the months when much of the country is facing colder weather.

The support of the City of St. Petersburg and Visit St. Pete-Clearwater helps create an environment where our veterans feel welcomed both on and off the water. From the iconic St. Pete Pier to the vibrant downtown waterfront, the city offers a perfect blend of beauty, accessibility, and community.

On the water, we are fortunate to partner with the St. Petersburg Sailing Center and the St. Petersburg Yacht Club, whose facilities, staff, and members consistently go above and beyond to support Warrior Sailing programs. Together with the St. Petersburg Sailing Foundation, these partners help ensure our veterans have access to resources—while fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie that extends well beyond the dock.

St. Petersburg isn’t just a host city—it’s a community that embraces our mission, making it a natural and cherished home for Warrior Sailing throughout the fall and winter seasons.
