Congratulations to all 18 Warrior Sailors who were introduced to the sport of sailing and earned their ASA Certifications in a 4-day partnership camp with Team Semper Fi. Warrior Sailing graduate Bobby Donnoly approached Warrior Sailing with a proposal to bring his group to a camp. Participants included returning Warrior Sailors and newbie sailors. We were able to provide an extra day for anyone to earn their basic keelboat certifications. All 18 Warriors passed the on-water and classroom tests to obtain their certifications.
Seattle Yacht Club’s Brian Ledbetter and his team were excellent hosts for the camp. Light winds were accompanied by seaplane traffic and sights of the city on both Lake Washington and Lake Union over the four days. What a beautiful city and place to sail.
We are approaching 400 Warrior graduates from our basic level course and nearing the 60 mark for certifications obtained by our graduates. Welcome to the Warrior Family!
